The last of a bloodline linked by soulfire, Eirlys has always happily lived in the shadows cast by her ancestors. Her mother was the hero of their village, using her unwavering control over the uncontrollable element of wildfire to prevent and save them from catastrophes. Her grandmother, a well-known hero that saved the continent from the threatening Ravagers.

When tragedy strikes her, Eirlys is faced with newly out-of-control wildfire. The fire and her soul were out of sync, and the flames sought to consume all in its path - even if that meant leaving Eirlys as a husk of herself.

When she causes an irreversible disaster, she chooses to face exile instead of facing life without a head. While on the run, she meets a strange creature that glows with pale light who offers friendship, in exchange for Eirlys's help saving its family and home.

Ancient evils have started to rise for the first time in eons, threatening not just Eirlys and the creature, but the wellbeing of all existence. It's time for her to fulfill her destiny and become the savior that her ancestors believe her capable of being.
