This is about tamlins daughter, Persephone, and how she lives in the mortal realm and suddenly gets taken to the mortal realm and gets tortured by her brothers Garret and James, her other brother Tomes the youngest of the five tries to help her, and she gets saved by the night court after they see how she was being treated there and how her powers were being dangerously neglected. Nyx, son of Feysand, finds out that Persephone is his mate but does not tell her. She discovers she has a twin brother on the content, and he gets taken to the spring court. A week after she lifts, she helps him, and soon the nightmare of her past comes to haunt all the abuse in the mortal realm and the spring court, how her brothers had raped her, and her father had weped her with a bone wep. Touching and verbal abuse from the human realm and how the night, especially Nyx, helps her recover and heal.
