This assault was so destructive that the radiation has spread to a virus that destroys most living things. A small percentage were immune but only high powerful equals (and orcs) that knew some sort of extreme magic made it. Most are unaware that this event has happened even though it wiped out 98% of the world's population. The main character, Crow gets extremely lucky with power and turns into an crazy nutcase. This is his back up story and reasons why he turned out that way. This is a prequel to another story that will be out shortly after this one is completed.
