(Kakashi's heart was still rushing even after his environment warped. There is a creature he can't recognize, bulky with half it's brain exposed and he can't help but comment silently about how stupid that is.
What drew his attention more was the odd looking people-no shinobi uniform, civilians?-that surrounded the area.
More importantly, he doesn't see the blood, clouding his vision anymore.
