The story followed the journey of Stiles, a 20-year-old college student, as he became entangled in a web of dark secrets, ancient curses, and forbidden love. When his friend Scott received an invitation to attend a wedding at the Hale Mansion in the small village of Gevaudan, Stiles reluctantly agreed to accompany him.

Upon arrival, Stiles met Derek, the arrogant Lord of the house, and an instant attraction mixed with disdain developed between them. Stiles was intrigued by Derek's enigmatic charm but repelled by his haughtiness.
