Once upon a time, a girl died and got reborn into her favourite fairytale story, Cinderella. However, she decided not to be the kind and good-tempered Cinderella.
The evil stepmother tells her to move to the attic? Heck no! She's gonna lock the door of her and barricade it so no one can use it.
They want her to do house chores? Sure, she will only clean her part and leaves her step-family's dirty items rot in the corner of the room.
So, when the stepmother and the stepsisters finally arrived, this Cinderella is ready to fight back. However, she forgot that the supposed fairytale has now become real life. Not everything is based on the fairytale anymore. Now that the storylines have changed, what should she do? Did she need to follow the flow or bring the plotline together again for her own happily ever after?
The evil stepmother turns kind. The annoying stepsisters are not greedy and aren't obsessed with the prince. And surprisingly, the prince's sexuality is not quite right! The girl is having a headache over everything that just happened. Does she ever get the happily ever after like the fairytale or does she need to find another happily ever after?
(A/N: It's not 100% like the real Cinderella but there are some scenes that I reuse with a little twist. Enjoy!)

"Her name was Beatrice Mattel. And this, was her glass slipper. Perhaps you will allow me to set the record straight?" The Grand Duchess says as she picks a beautiful shoe out of the silver box. "Then it's true? The story?" The writer enquires. "Yes, quite. Now.. what is that frase you use? Ah yes, once upon a time there lived a young girl who loved her father very much..." Most will suspect that the story of Cinderella is nothing but a fairytale, a simple children's tale passed down through generations. Who would have thought that it all actually happened back before Yekaterina Petrovna of House Romanov became Empress of all of Russia? A/N: This story is heavily based on Ever After from 1998, but it is also partly built around Russian history and particularly the life and reign of Empress Yelisaveta Petrovna. A Somewhat Different Fairy Tale
Once upon a time... ...Cinderella tried the shoe on, it fitted perfectly. So Cinderella married the Prince and they lived happily ever after. Bullshit. The truth was... As soon as they entered the huge bedroom, the prince slammed Cinderella against the wall roughly, leaning closer and whispered into the other's ear. "Didn't I say I'll catch you, Cinderella, or do you prefer Kibum?" Kibum shivered under the prince's words. The prince's voice sounded so cold and at that second, Kibum asked himself whether it wasn't a mistake to show up at the ball. Yet, what else should he do? There hadn't been another choice. Pushing the prince away from him with all his strength, Kibum replied. "If you think you won, you're wrong, Prince Jonghyun. This is just the beginning." You think you know fairy tales? Are you sure? Are you sure the Prince had given the ball to find himself a wife? Are you sure the Godmother was the one who helped Cinderella? Are you sure Cinderella didn't have any other intentions by going to the ball? Are you sure...? Nothing is what it seems. What if there was more behind this bedtime story? This is the original aka. Jongkey/2Min version of "Cinderella after midnight." If you prefer a non yaoi story, please check out the other version.Complete

Feet Aren't Made for Walking [BEING PUBLISHED!] #OnceUponNow
One of the winners of the Once Upon Now contest! Feet Aren't Made for Walking will be renamed Truth Be Told and will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon and Schuster, on October 11, 2016 in the Once Upon Now Anthology! ---------------------------- Leo Clark is having a really bad day. He's been transported into a topsy-turvy alternate universe (not a good thing when your mom's expecting you home for dinner), he's recently acquired wooden extremities and is physically incapable of telling a lie (an even worse thing when you pride yourself on not sharing your emotions), and his little sister has been kidnapped, mistaken for the lost princess of the Land of Pittsborough (the worst thing of all because...please refer back to the part about Mom making dinner). In order to save his sister and find a way home, Leo will have to confront an evil queen who lives in an office cubicle, a few mice with horrible fashion sense, and a girl with green skin and webbed toes (but hey, at least she's kind of cute). And he'll have to do it all before the clock strikes midnight or risk being trapped in Pittsborough forever. Now if only he could figure out how to walk on his wooden feet... --------------------------- This short story is a modern day fairytale mashup, partially inspired by Pinocchio, The Frog Prince, and many others.
