nick nelson as a teacher, charlie as a guidance counsellor (they are together in this) and a young girl who is going through a rough time at home appears at charlie's office, charlie decides to let the little girl stay in his office but she was meant to be nick's class so nick gets worried and comes to see char and they end up having a meeting with the parents of the little girl and they decide they don't want to raise her anymore so nick and charlie become the little girl's parents/guardians and it is all told from the little girl's point of view but here's the plot twist: one of the little girl's parents is ben hope.....
