Tartaglia has been choosing bad decisions. But the last one, rejecting the mission from the Fatui, was the biggest mistake he had done. Now he is on the run with Fatui on his tail. He steals to make up for the mora he lost and as well as he is known as the best thief.  He hopes to get back to his family and friends. Though, one part of him wants to get closer to the Geo Archon... Will he be able to escape from this dilemma?

10/02/2024 - MAJOR EDITS DONE - Guizhong's adeptus form has been changed, previous chapters affected include Chapters 20 and 22 It takes a lot to catch Tartaglia, 11th of the Fatui Harbingers, off guard. Between surviving three months with the monsters of the Abyss at age fourteen, fighting his way up from square one through the ranks of the Fatui to his current position, and maintaining his façade as "The Greatest Toy Salesman in Snezhnaya" in the eyes of his youngest and most mischievous brother; yes, it would take a lot to find him in a truly tight spot. Waking up in a body that existed nearly 3,700 years ago in the land that had yet to become Liyue? That would be disorienting even for a god. And speaking of gods, the only person he can turn to happens to be one. Here's hoping that the younger Zhongli is as friendly as the one Childe has grown close to.
