Spider-Man and Iron Man belong together, everyone knows that. It's no surprise that the citizens of New York have expectations, then. They expect him to take on the mantle, now that Mr. Stark is retired for good. And he can handle that.
Peter Parker and Tony Stark somehow also belong together, but nobody knows that. There are no expectations, he can be free when he is with Mr. Stark.
And yet, when he looks down, his hands are still shaking.
Because Tony, along with all of New York, has expectations. And, somehow, Peter got roped into following every single one.

It has been a month since the second Snap. Tony Stark, AKA Ironman, and Peter's close mentor, was in a coma ever since he snapped with the Infinity Stones to decimate the enemy. It had effectively almost killed him, but he was still alive, just in a deep, deep sleep. Peter couldn't stand it. Tony was like a father to him, and he didn't want to lose the man he always looked up to. So he decided to start writing letters to Tony. Lots and lots of letters, one a day, all sent to the hospital Tony was in, in high hopes that he will one day wake up and be able to read them. CROSS POSTED Tony was not okay. Tony was the exact opposite of okay. Tony, stupid, stupid Tony, not only recruited a teenager, he recruited a teenager that was now being targeted by Hydra. This had to be his fault. Hydra must have somehow found out Peter helped him in Germany and picked him out as the weakest link. They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better!
