Sometimes I can almost see the sun, almost touch it. It creates a spark of hope within me that there could possibly be a chance I could escape. Then I remember that no matter how much hope burns inside of me, it will be of no use as long as I remain chained back. Because really, we're all in a room. Alone and stealing hopeful glances at the sun, wondering if we'll ever escape. We think that with enough hope, we can do anything. Maybe we can, but then again, some chains were never meant to be broken. And the longer we remain confined, the more we fear freedom.

A virus has swept the earth causing a global pandemic. Masks are required in public, social distancing is crucial; things are very, very different from how they used to be. But just when the virus starts to calm down things take a turn for the worse as a second stage commences. Stuck in a hotel from a ski trip, Karma learns that there is no precaution you can take to protect yourself from the second stage. It is either kill or be killed. But what does one do when they find themselves infected with the very virus that caused the apocalypse? After all, she's the only one who can save the sheep in the cellar.
