This is the opening saga of the Legacy of Dixie series and it follows the story of a girl named Dixie, a 12 year old girl struggling to survive middle school and life as a lower class citizen. On the eve of her 13th birthday, she gets caught in the middle of a life-changing war and her body began to change, revealing she isn't much different from her life-long crush, Blue Onikawa. How can she escape the destruction and how will she react when everything she knew and loved is taken away from her before her eyes?
