Tanjiro wakes up in a dark alleyway, tall buildings surrounding him.
Where... was he?
He had died right? He sacrificed his life to make sure that Muzan's reign was over. Is he in the afterlife? He takes a whiff of the air and immediately retches. This is definitely not what the afterlife would smell like.

It smelled of a human that seemed to be calm for the most part but was dangerously close to the former scent.
