Introduction:

Electronic devices have assimilated into our daily lives as technology advances at a breakneck speed. We depend on these technological devices, which range from smartphones to computers to televisions to refrigerators, for convenience, entertainment, and communication. Electronic garbage, or e-waste, is a serious environmental issue that has arisen as a result of the ongoing updating and disposal of these devices. In this essay, we will examine the issues surrounding e-waste and viable remedies to deal with this expanding issue.

The Problems of E-Waste:
 
1.	Environmental Hazards:

The risks it causes to the environment are one of the key issues with e-waste. Lead, mercury, cadmium, and flame retardants are just a few of the dangerous materials found in electronic equipment. These chemicals can seriously degrade the environment when they are incorrectly disposed of since they can pollute soil, water supplies, and the air. E-waste is frequently burned or dumped in landfills, releasing hazardous chemicals and dangerous gases into the atmosphere.

2.	Health Risks:

E-waste poses serious health concerns to people in addition to harming the environment. Burning electronic parts to recover valuable metals is a common informal recycling technique employed in underdeveloped nations, which releases harmful gases into the atmosphere. Workers that are involved in these processes are exposed to dangerous compounds, which can cause cancer, neurological abnormalities, skin ailments, and respiratory issues. Additionally, inappropriate e-waste disposal can contaminate adjacent water sources, harming the health of nearby people.

Why risk addiction while destroying your lungs and your brain with alcohol, nicotine (smoking tobacco or vaping), cannabis (marijuana), opium derived drugs like Oxycontin or other unnecessary and unhealthy chemicals? If you need to dispel a bad mood, use one or more meditation techniques, evolution's natural way to obtain happiness.
