The rain is pouring down and the only lights that can be seen are the ones from the cars and the nearest gas station. Felix is sprinting down the road on a bicycle, soaked from head to toe, but too scared to stop now. After claiming he saw a mysterious entity, he couldn't stay home anymore. The first thing he felt was needed is to run away, it doesn't matter where. That's how he ended up meeting Dimitri, the unfortunate boy that was working the night shift at the gas station. He was expecting everything but a Shadow appearing in front of him while Felix is clinging to his arm in horror. After all the years Felix had to endure, feeling alone and not trusted, finally there was someone who believed him. Someone else who could also see The Shadow. Without wanting to, now they're stuck together trying to figure out what that entity wants from them, and more importantly, if they're going to live through all of this.Complete

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

A boy stood at the edge of the balcony, peering down at the floor beneath him. He knew all it would take was a single step to end all of this. End the pain. End the struggle. Just as he was about to take a step off the edge, he felt hands wrap themselves around his waist, ripping him away from the edge. "How dare you even try to escape us in this way..." A deep voice said him. Though the voice seemed quiet and calm, the boy knew better. Another voice made its way into his ears. "You should know that even if you succeeded in your pathetic attempt at escaping us, we would do everything in our power to be with you even in death." Yes... He knew this fact all too well.
