Stan's still dealing with his parents divorcing and being the only child thrown in the middle of it since Shelly's in colleges, as well as dealing with his struggling and declining mental health. Kyle is doing whatever he can to boost his reputation and popularity, studying hard and participating in everything, so his future college choices will approve of him. Eric is dealing with his mom's new boyfriend, Butters moving in with him after being kicked out, finding and discovering his sexuality, and struggling with his body image. Kenny is trying hard to take care of his younger sister, Karen, since his parents aren't doing much and expecting him to watch and care for her while they're gone.
