Lucy lives an ordinary life, and that's the problem. Life in movies is everything she wants. She craves a life of a heroine in far off lands. Only she lives in the real world where a life of adventure and magic is impossible. 
Life consists of school and her best friend Lizzie. Daydreaming is her only escape from the depressing scene that she must call life. Everything stays the same in Hillside and small towns are difficult to run from. 
 High School comes to an end and she will have to figure out what to do after it ends. Lucy has always known that her future involves being full of contempt. She's ready to rot away in this town. 
That was until she met Grey

And Grey wants to live every day to its fullest.
