Aha'ri had a sheltered childhood. Her parents were scarred from the war with the sky people, and intended to protect their children from the world. When the sky people returned, her parents were killed trying to flee, leaving Aha'ri and her little sister Lurei orphaned by the war. Due to her being sheltered, she had no survival skills to her name and no one would help her, until an unlikely ally came along.
Aha'ri is best friends with Kiri, and considers her to be the closest thing she has to family after her parents died. Aha'ri had envied the Sully family, they had everything she wanted, a big happy family. She envied Neteyam most of all, the mighty warrior who was good at everything.
