Its May 3rd of 1994, the overlords, the Blameless, are making preparations to forgive The new U.S. "Boomroof" of her amassing debts and crimes against humanity, for a price that is, and only when the year finally reaches 2000.
Everyone with a dream is trying to make a few dollars more, even orange haired Chicago hustler turned sales associate and struggeling entrepenuer "Samuel Samson".
An open-hearted eccentric, semi-harsh people pleaser and "friend with benefits", whose trying to put away bad habits but not feeling much incentive to, considering he's stuck in a dead end sales associate job at his local Supermarket.
One faithful night, Samuel meets a short, black haired adopted boy named Sawyer and his step-sisters Lourisa and Larasi. Sawyer is highly intelligent, brash and an arrogant cynic.
A self-proclaimed "robinhood" and enemy of the new world order. He also happens to know his way behind a rifle and a steering wheel. In other words, Sammy's got business.
