Belle Duxbury was an ordinary girl - she had a job in retail to earn money in her gap year and she had friends who she loved. Her life was great and she knew that, but that made everything worse. Despite her friends, her family and her dog, she was lonely. Belle loved a man, a man who she could not have. The man she wanted was unreachable, he existed, but not in the way she loved him. She loved a 1980s superstar, Rupert Axel Wolfe. Her friends and family knew, but they didn't understand - she loved him, she could feel her heart breaking whenever she looked at him. One stormy September night, Belle is looking out of her window, longing for her Rupert to be by her side. She wishes for just 30 days with him - just 30 days. She hears a crack of thunder and her face is illuminated by a flash of lightning. Something was about to change for Belle, something that would be deemed impossible was about to happen to this 19 year old - and it was going to change her life forever. - - Author's note: hey!
