Ambition is like a drug. Addictive, fueling, consuming. It calls to us. Once we've tasted its glories, all we want is more. It brings us highs that collapse into lows, carries us to heights only to drop us off the edge. Ambition is a mastermind. For good or for bad, ambition has power. 

Ambition is a power in us. A beautiful human power. Hard to define and often harder to control. It propels us to futures we never could have imagined and destroys us inside in ways we only could have feared.

These poems from a heart well-worn by ambition's games, well-versed in its ways, the joy and all the pain, are carefully crafted images of what ambition can do to the human heart and mind. They are a celebration and a warning, praise and mourning. 

Keep your ambitions under check, or you may find the place to which they take you to be anything but a dream.

MELANCHOLY | Melancholy drips from my fingertips. SOON TO BE A PUBLISHED PAPERBACK. COMING 2025! This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly, you begin to forget I even exist. All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. Perhaps under this layer of melancholy, the girl I once knew still exists.    First poetry collection in the series. Original poems based off real life experiences. #12 in poetry. She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order.
