Just one movement would have been enough. The twitch of a finger, bat of an eyelid. He would have rather heard her spluttering cough more than the most beautiful symphony, but there was nothing. There was no sound of movement in the room other than himself, shaking his sister's body, yelling her name, and refusing to believe what was laid out in front of him.
His sister was dead.

I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening.
