What makes a home?

Is a home just a spot of land on a map that someone had claimed? Is it a building that people live inside of? Or is it just the family itself that is the home?

Do not ask me for an answer. I do not have one. I fear that I never will.

For as long as I can remember, I've never had a home. My whole life, I've lived on the road with my mother and twin sister. I do not know who my father is, so I've never felt like my family was complete. My mother has always reassured me that we are a family, even without a father. And I am not saying that I do not believe her. I do! It's just that I have always felt like something was missing.
It took me a long time, but eventually I found out that it was not a father that I was missing, but something else.
My name is Magilta Silver.
And this is my family's story...

(I do not own any of the original Hobbit characters or the original story line. This is sort of a Fili x Reader, but you can just replace your name with Ledrra's if you wish. I hope you all enjoy the story!)
