The Guardian of Gerudo (Twilight Princess)

Partial re-telling of Twilight Princess + capable OC with ulterior motives.

Long ago, the Goddesses enlisted a powerful Gerudo tribe to safeguard the infamous Arbiter's Grounds and its shadowy secret. All that remains of this tribe today is Faya: the last Guardian of Gerudo.

When the schemes of a treacherous prisoner begin wreak havoc inside the Twilight Realm, Faya has no choice but to turn to the Princess of Hyrule for aid. Unfortunately, something terrible has beat her to the castle, and the fate of Hyrule has already been assigned to another unlikely Hero....

"Link, this is serious" Midna pleaded, hurriedly "I know that we already agreed you wouldn't tell anybody about our deal, but especially her. She absolutely cannot know that I am here."

"Her?" Link blurted, watching the figure approach.

"Yes, her! You think women are utterly useless, don't you? Well, you are not going to make that mistake here. That is a Guardian of Gerudo. She is a hundred years old and has cut King Bulblin off his boar more times than you have swung your sword. Now, go and make a terrible impression so that she leaves us alone!"
