Cassandra Cain was born to be a weapon, not a person. After becoming Batgirl she gets put in a position where she is able to help another boy who, while not in the same position, is in a similar enough one that she becomes attached to him. 

As always I'm bad at writing descriptions but I promise I'm 100x better at writing chapters. There aren't many Cassandra books on this app so if you're interested you may as well check this out.

Wanting to be a superhero and becoming one, are two completely different things. But becoming the opposite? That's way easier. And sometimes it's not on purpose. Fate didn't want me to be a hero. I started writing my first fanfic story because I read a lot of fan fiction were the reader is "batmom" usually the storyline is about how she was this amazing hero who fights with the batfamily. Of course different artists have their own unique batmom. But somehow all of the batmoms that I have read didn't really have what I wanted so it just inspired me to write my own batmom.
