When June Winters, a young attorney aspiring to move up in the world of law, receives a case from her senior about the death of a young boy, she's thrown back into a life with her ex, Tyler Adams, which is already hard to think about, considering their rocky past. Then there's the disasters that keep striking her ever since she agreed to take up the case.

And then Iriehen City is attacked, and June realises that it couldn't be all a coincidence. That all of these predicaments could be connected to her wounds from the past, to Tyler, their families and the threads that tie their fates. It's then that it hits her.

The only way she can heal and move on with all she loves is to stand for herself. And finally set a course for north.
