Jake Taylor is a 17 year old incoming high school senior at West Pointe Lakes, an elite private school in Washington State, USA. He had it all for most of his high school years; he was 6'2, was one of the most popular kids in school, and was QB for the varsity football team and captain for the lacrosse team. It is the beginning of the summer before his last year at school before college, and he plans on making his last year his best.
Jake along with his friends Connor, Sammy, Daniel, and Henry decided to go to a camp at Lake Cavanaugh over the summer to start off their last year together; it is at this camp where he crosses paths with an 13-year old boy named Igor, who was born in Russia and moved to the USA when he was 8.
