"H-Harry.  I don't want to go.." I say, looking down at the ground, as he pulls me into a bone-crushing hug.  My head rests on his chest, as his hand gently carresses my hair.  

"Love, you have to.  You have to finish school."  He says quietly as i sniffle.  A few tears escape my eyes, and fall onto this shirt.  "We'll visit, you can visit.  We'll make it work.. No matter what though, we'll still be best friends.  No matter the distance between us, alright?"  He speaks quietly and comfortingly as i begin to cry.   

A year without my boys would be like a year without rain.  Dry, dull, boring, and just plain depressing.

Meet Darcy Rogers;;  
Best friend of One Direction.  She is returning home for the year in order to finish high school. She's funny, beautiful, caring, crazy, loud, and outspoken. This is her, and this is her story.

A/N:  In this story, the boys are not present 24/7.  It focuses on Darcy, and how she is dealing with being away from them for so long.  There will be flashbacks to the summer, and times where they are actually there with her.   It may be hard to follow at first, but don't worry.  It will get better and easier as time progresses.  The flashbacks will usually be in Bold Italics, at the end or beginning of chapters.  Also, i apologize for typos.  I hate keyboards. That is all.

There is also a bit of Janoskians thrown in, Luke Brooks exactly, because i just love them so much too. ;)

So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. He was the stupid one in the situation and now he has to witness how a boy that loved him once with all his heart, is now giving his love to someone else. 5 boys met each other in music class, a subject for which they share a passion. They started to have this class in the very beginning of high school, the boys being 12-13 years old. They were drawn to each other like magnets, and for sure Harry and Louis who started dating the second they know the meaning of that word. And they have been dating ever since until last June, when Louis graduated High school and had to go to university in London while Harry still had another year to go. Harry broke up and after a summer full of desperate voicemails, texts and phone calls, the curly lad doesn't hear anything anymore from his ex-lover. That is until Zayn gathers the boys during next summer for a road trip around Italy. All five of them had been apart all year. Everybody is excited about the road trip, until Harry sees that Louis brought an extra person with him: His new boyfriend.

With my long blonde hair that reached the small of my back, dip dyed pink and purple at the ends instead of my short hair that stopped just after my shoulder blades.
