The water pillar thinks it's time for it all to end. All this pain and suffering. He decides to try and slit his throat, much to no avail. Kocho finds him, and she heals him. She thinks a demon did it to him, though.
For who would expect the full of himself Hashira to try and commit suicide?
He tries and tries again to die, but someone is always there to stop him. He gets a bit annoyed at this, and so he tries to drown himself.
But as he's near the bottom, he gets pulled up and out of the water.

"Tomioka, what the f*ck are you doing!?" He shouted at me.
"I... wanted the pain to finally end..." I whispered to him.
"You tried to kill yourself..?" He said almost silently. He put a hand on my shoulder. "Do...Do you want to talk..about...it..?"
I stayed quiet. I know he had a rough childhood, too. I don't want to burden him...
He awkwardly patted my head. "I'll be here if you need to talk..." He pulled me into a hug.

Both of then eventually fell in love, and they even dated. Everything was great until they had a mission involving a lower moon. After the mission they got hashira position, but unfortunately... It shows how loud your soulmate is being, If they are shouting in anger, their soulmate's arm will shake, and they'll drop whatever they are holding in their hand if it isn't in a tight grip. If your soulmate is crying it will flash with an x on it (aka when muted) this is all on your fore-arm/wrist. It shows up on your 14th birthday. Normally something magical would happen if you met your soul mate, not this time, when you're close to your soul mate you'll feel at ease sorta... When you and your soul mate find out about each other your volume icon will flash colours meaning you guys can talk to each other whenever and wherever. You either think what your going to say and they'll hear it and respond you. The sad thing is that Bakugou's soulmate is normally muted(flashing) or shouting very loud.
