I will be honest with you. If you're coming here expecting a novel completely about romance and harems and what have you, then turn around immediately. And also, if you're not okay with "furry" stuff, you may also want to turn around as theres a little of that in here.

I'm not sure what drove me to write this, but I have spent years of my life creating this. Restart after restart, rewrite after rewrite, redo after redo. As time passed, things changed. With the change, pain followed. This is a story of a man locked in the past full of teaching that he found to be flawed. Join Cael Adrian, a soldier that was apart of the North American Resistance Army, a group of freedom fighters who once tried to save the husk of a nation from an invading force, only to learn that they were behind on information. This story was greatly inspired by works like The Swan Song and A Man In A Beasts World. As will be mentioned in the foreword chapter, I am not a furry, though I have many friends who are. There will be many references in this story, most will be from works such as Call Of Duty, Escape From Tarkov, and STALKER, though there will be other references spread throughout. There will also be characters seen that are NOT owned by me, but rather are original characters made by friends of mine.

Lyrius isn't your average anthro. Sure, he's tall, has golden paws, and a strange symbol on his eye- but he also burns kitchens when he tries to cook, gets way too philosophical at random times, and sometimes just wants to nap his problems away This story follows his journey: from meeting friends who change everything, to falling in love in ways he didn't expect, to realizing the world (and himself) are a lot more complicated than they seem. There's action, romance, heartbreak, and also... a lot of cuddles. But fair warning: Lyrius's life isn't all fluffy moments. There's loss, betrayal, heavy choices, and enough emotions to make even a god cry (and trust me, he does). This book is by Lyrius (@LyriusTheDogDragon) This story includes themes of homosexuality, romance, depression, domestic violence, sexual harrasment, harsh language, rape, etc. And bits of NSFW consented sex here and there. ⚠️ Mature themes may show up. ❝ Heya! Lyrius here - well, technically, it's me writing about Lyrius, but you get the idea. This book is all about the lore of my main OC, which I've been carrying around in my head for ages. He's... complicated. Dramatic at times, other times clumsy, and sometimes way too soft for his own good. But he's also my favorite, so here we are. This story is 100% original (no copies, no nothing!) and it's been living rent-free in my head for quite a while by now. So I finally decided to sit down and write this first part out, and honestly? For so long as anyone can remember humans and anthros live together in harmony, but then suddenly they were at war with each other. Why? Let's just say a tyrant anthro leader who hates humans started the war. Now the two species who once live in harmony are now at war with each other. Three years of war later and humanity is winning while the anthros are loosing, the war is almost over and all they have to do is finish it. And the ones who will end this war are four of the most dangerous, brutal, and violence human soldiers the anthros have ever face. They're the ones the give anthros nightmares, the ones that give them PTSD, they give them hear attacks just by looking at them, their version of the boogeyman, and just the name of it will make them scream in fear, they're known as... Team Scar.

Humans and Anthros lived in peace and harmony on the earth for hundreds of years. The United Anthro Nations (UAN) sought to unite all races of anthros and build a stronger relationship with humans. An era of peace and prosperity came over the earth. That is until the year 2037 when a terrorist group called the Fangs attacked the UAN and started a worldwide war. The UAN instantly declared war on the Fangs and fought furiously to destroy them. The Humans on the other hand said they wanted to remain neutral and not take any side. The UAN respected this and even tried to safeguard and protect the humans by place ing any and all humans they found in safe camps. The Fangs didn't care for humanity and would kill any human they came across and, in some cases capture and experiment on them. After the Fangs attacked and destroyed all the western hemisphere camps. Along with all the camps in South America Humanity claimed that the UAN couldn't protect them and cut off all ties with them. Now Humanity is in hiding and even is starting to attack both UAN and Fang forces that get too close. Now the year is 2057 and, the Human race has all but vanished while the fangs now control most of Europe and are slowly winning the fight in America. The UAN leadership ordered that any humans found were to be taken to a military base for care and protection. And they only hoped they could rebuild what they once had before the war. (P.S.
