Now, the planet is ravaged by war as the two races fight for different causes. Shifters- survival and freedom. Humans- to rid of the 'evil' from their world. But what happens when two ordinary people become unlikely friends? Everything changes.

Life has never seemed more serene than as I lay dying. Blood coats the forest floor beneath me, connecting with the foilage-covered soil in a parade of musty, copper smells. Through the rain drops that fall on me from the treetops, I can feel the icy breath of a dawning winter. It will be cold this year. It's a shame Ill never see it- I love the cold. Most cold.
