Once upon a time there was a girl called Hope who was a slave to jealousy. Everyday she'd work so hard to impress jealousy, but there was always someone better, someone jealousy liked better, and it broke her heart.
There was also a boy called Love who was always surrounded by hate, it drove him mad. Too many adored him and they didn't know how to share, so they began turning on each other, and fighting, and it broke his heart.
Aswell, there was a nameless boy who commanded an army of shadows but loved the light. He watched the world from afar and pitied all those on it, however his greatest wish was to be among them. Whenever he tried to join them though, they were scared of him and chased him off, and it broke his heart.
So these three broken hearts drifted around the universe spreading misery, and wreaking havoc, until one day they collided.

If he could learn to love another, (a male or female), and earn their love in return before the last petal falls, the curse will be broken. If not, Sean will remain a demon, for all time.
