Not long after Wheatley finds his way back from the moon, he goes to find Chell. The first thing she does when they meet is slap him. Wheatley's not appalled, in fact, he feels he quite deserves it. When he realizes that life on the outside of Aperture isn't as easy as he had originally thought, Chell's heart is softened a little, and so they start living together. The tension is thick at first but mellows down a bit as their relationship goes on.
