Voldemort was defeated on Halloween 1981, but Lucius Malfoy faked his survival to take over Britain in his name with the help of his mudblood force 'The Wands'.
18 years later, the Dark Lord returns to a very different Britain - but Malfoy won't give up his power. And Dumbledore sees an opportunity to deal with both. Caught up in all of this are a Wand-Leader and a Spy on different sides.
This story is set in ean Alternate Universe and while the basic stting of Harry Potter remains (Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Voldemort, Grindelwald etc.) the Magical World is different from canon and a number of characters will act differently due to their different past.

Harry Potter: Heir of the Dark Lord
The First Wizarding War ended after news of Tom Riddle aka Voldemort had been defeated by an infant named Harry James Potter on October 31st, 1981, causing many witches and wizards to celebrate as peace had finally returned in the Wizarding world only for rumors to somehow emerge about a prophecy that talks about a child of Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange. The prophecy stated that the dark lord's heir would one day rise to become the most powerful dark wizard in history and usher in a new age of darkness that would bring an end to the wizarding world and the muggle world. When this rumor came out, it caused many to panic, and others to try and hunt down the child, only to fail as no one not even the Ministry of Magic with all their power and resources could locate him or know what he looked like. The child whose name was Noctis Rigel Arcturus Black, lived in 12 Grimmauld Place with his great-aunt Walburga Black. He was taught every form of magic ranging from normal magic to the dark arts when he was 4 years old. He also had a high altitude for knowledge and spell-casting and was also born gifted with three abilities, two were considered very rare, one was Seer and the second Parseltongue, and the third was called Legilimency. When she learned about his abilities she was extremely happy and wasn't going to let the opportunity of having a member of the Black family who was born with three rare magical powers go to pass. She wrote in her will that she would leave everything to her great-nephew including 12 Grimmauld Place, the Black family vault, and the family elf Kreacher, before dying in 1985, leaving Noctis to reside in the house alone for his own safety for most of his life from the Ministry of Magic until he turns 11 when the headmaster of Hogwarts arrives changing his life forever. Early Creature Inheritance
Harry Potter goes into hiding with his parents Lily and James Potter when the Dark Lord helps them fake their deaths but Harry does get the lightning bolt because Tom manages somehow to make him his seventh and last horcrux. When Harry turns 11, he goes into an early creature inheritance (Creature Inheritance in this book is when you turn 14, but because Harry went into his, Draco did as well, Tom already had his) and breaks everything of what Dumbledore had put him on, so Dumbledore is in for a surprise when Harry is put in Slytherin and becomes the mate of not only Draco Malfoy but also Tom Marvolo Riddle and Dumbledore is very surprised to see that Lily and James Potter are still alive and on the dark side, Sirius is freed and reunited with his 2 best friends one of which is his mate. 3th Year for Draco Malfoy Voldermort rose but, the process didn't go as planned. Instead the remnant of soul still in the Diary of Tom Riddle with Lucius Malfoy once more rises instead and the deformed Voldermort dies right before Potter's eyes and escape leaving the Death Eaters in chaos and Potter believing Voldermort is dead along with Dumbledore. Totally confused, Lucius Malfoy and the Death Eaters now serve the 16 year old Tom Riddle, while at Hogwarts, the stupid Werewolf Lupin is teaching again to the annoyance of the Slytherins, Dumbledore and Lupin begins to suspect something is terribly wrong with Draco Malfoy when he appears a month into the school year with large bruises on his wrist and neck however, he refuses to say anything. Tom Riddle, is deep at work. He must infiltrate Hogwarts, but for that he needs trustworthy teen followers. Meaning those his own age, and Draco Malfoy is where he starts. Knowing that Draco is in desperate need of a friend, is easily manipulated as the boy has been abused by Lucius for several years, he orders Lucius to start bringing Draco to his childhood home, which is actually the home of Aver Jr, in an attempt to gain the boy's trust, unwavering loyalty, more than his father. He also wishes to trick Albus Dumbledore into believing that he's a harmless descendant of Tom Riddle/Lord Voldermort and get into hogwarts and start his plan to get revenge.
