He who dies by the blade, verily shall live in chains A phantom of vengeance, a ghost of war, such titles would be well fitted, to Sir Letifer Mourse. Denied peace in death, Letifer finds himself damned to the living, to roam the world in search of vengeance, though harbours no desire for it. In a twist of fate however, it seems his vengeance may very well seek him. In the wake of a dastardly necrotic plague, a war of the dead nearly a century in the making, and of course the fanatic designs of a maddened zealot, Letifer finds himself damned not only to endure the realm of the living, but to face the dead who would call it their home... Authors note: I must confess, the earlier chapters are quite shitty compared to the later ones. Read at your own risk. (Cover art made with Midjourney AI)

Gideon's got a riddle, a cursed tomb, and a new mess of problems. He finds himself in the middle of France, with an old enemy and a new foe. He's in a dead zone with no magic, no idea how he got here, and no plan. It's 1445, everyone's got a secret, and an old grudge is about to turn deadly for the people of Wales and England alike. Sequel Series to Last Knights of Cambria series, and the Days of the Dead trilogy, ergo it contains spoilers for those. Similar narrative style and tone, that is if you want English history explained like Lemony Snicket, then this is for you. Ahem. Living people die, dead people live. Swords. Epic Battles. Mysterious riddles. Coded messages. True love. Traitors. Murder. Found families. Yes, Henry V is here and he is awesome. Did we mention swords? Battles are described in loving detail. People are not. Yes you may learn something about the Siege of Meaux, but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Content Warning: some violence, peril, and some strong language. Death issues discussed. A character may be seen as suicidal. A character experiences issues relating to an abusive parent. Some family trauma. Some dark humor.
