Liberty Deller did not wish to become a Lawyer. She wished to use her law degree to enter politics. However, when her father, Andrew Deller a prominent Lawyer and part time Judge is found dead of an apparent suicide, everything changes. She is determined to find out the truth about his death. She does not accept the verdict of suicide.
In his Will her father stipulates that she will only inherit the substantial sum of five hundred thousand pounds when she is admitted to the Roll. She immediately assumes that this is the Roll of Solicitors and reluctantly takes the offer of employment from her father's former firm.

She joins Warren & Hunter a yorkshire based law firm where she uncovers many dark secrets. She discovers the firm is being run by robed men controlled by the "Yorkshire Terriors."

She is Para legal to legal demon, Lydia Bammona who tries to make her life a mysery. Liberty's life is in danger as the robed men start to shadow her. She does not know who to turn to  as her mother is suffering from a mental illness after her father's death.

She turns to her father in this Diary which she writes to him.

The Diary tells the story of a young persons's struggle between right and wrong, integrity and dishonesty.

As meeting is rescheduled thinking Esmeralda has calmed down he is surprised to see that she has more tricks up her sleeve. As tempers escalate Tommy is unfortunately forced into a verbal & physical altercation with Esmeralda that could bring his political career & reputation tumbling to the ground, will he be able to turn Esmeralda's anguish & pain around.

Hunter uses his common sense and logic to his advantage, but soon fear of loosing his sister overwhelms him and he soon finds out is just how confusing and distorted reality gets once inside the Plantation walls. He has to risk everything just to save his and his sisters life. And being descended from the very family that the ghost who supposedly haunts the plantation killed, doesnt put the odds in there favor.
