Welcome to our story.
As you can probably tell from the title, this story is not a fairytale. If it were, maybe things would have gone differently. Ended differently. Because if there's one thing about fairytales, it's that they always have a happy ending. Now, I'm not saying our story doesn't have a happy ending. I'm not saying that it does, either. Because frankly, I'm not sure. So I guess that's for you to decide.
It's not much like a fairytale, either. I don't know why I named this book what I did. Maybe because I want it to be a fairytale.
It isn't.
This isn't a story about princes and princesses. Witches and wizards.
It's a story about saving the world.
And I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Now, let me tell you the story of how me and my friends saved the world. -Wren Morrow
