Within our world exists a much darker world only known to a select few. Some are identified as “gifted” and brought to a special institute where they develop their own unique talent and understanding of this world within our world. 
 
It is here Kassia finds out her talent is both dangerous and difficult to control.  She has the ability to inflict pain on an individual within her sight. It is only after a friend is being attacked that she realizes her talent is much more powerful when she brings death to the attackers. Little did she know that use of such a powerful talent alerted demons to her existence.  

Suddenly she is on the run with her best friend, who ironically is immune to her power, and a new kid at school she was falling for. Realizing she can’t outrun the demons, she seeks the guidance of a local shaman. The shaman explains the only escape is through her own death.  In order to protect her friends and institute, she sets out to do just that.

There are a million possibilities. Possibilities that we don't get to travel. Possibilities that we don't get to see. Possibilities that can cause even the smallest changes. My possibility, well, let's just say that gifted teenagers, biological experimentation, mutants from another world and worldwide panic are a part of it and it's up to me and my friends to save it. I am no longer writing in this story, I became unhappy with how it came out but I am rewriting it because I fell in love with the idea so much so if you are new or recurring I ask you to read the new version I have coming out. Chara must think wisely about her choices or else she may end up helping the wrong side. The Prophecy states: "One day there will be a child born of two greats. This child will be either our saviour or our doom and face many challenges along their journey. The decisions made during these challenges can and will be greatly influenced by the ones around them. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it.
