Emily Prentiss has never really been open about her personal life with her new team. Sure, the casual things like what she likes to do in her free time, some of her childhood memories and such. But the one thing her team doesn't know, is that she has a wife. One that she is more proud of than anything else in the world. 

A few weeks after she started her work at the BAU, Y/n was shipped of for 26 months. Longest time yet. But they promise to write and call as often as they can. Nothing could go wrong on either side, could it?

This is the story of Supervisory Special Agent Emily Prentiss and her wife, Commanding Air Force Lieutenant Y/n Prentiss.

You and Emily met at the BAU when she transferred back from Interpol after Hotch had hired you a few months before.
