On a dystopian planet lives a race of lion people. They were powerful, fierce, and lived in harmony with one another. Until one day an alien race of savages corrupted their planet Xila, leaving the Xilan population scarce and defenseless. Many gave up hope, except for Kaylea, the royal Princess of the Xilans and soon-to-be High Priestess. She prayed for a miracle but wasn't expecting a surprise vistor who would not only help save her people but would also come to be her mate. 

Love, power, and family is all tested. The future of not only her people but her life is on the line. In the end, survival might not be mercy.
