A husky named Shasta from Ferntiuktuk Alaska meets a group of golden retriever puppies one day who agree to help him win a sled dog race. Years later Shasta reunites with them and now they're all grown up. When he sees Rosebud he starts having a crush on her, and Rosebud's feelings for Shasta come back after seeing him after all of those years apart. What will happen when Rosebud and Shasta confess their love to each other and what will the rest of the Buddies do when they find out?
