ANGEL (KLAUS FANFIC)

Gabrielle Reeds is on a mission to find a man shrouded in legend-a thousand-year-old hybrid feared by even the bravest of men. But Gabbie isn't easily intimidated; after all, she's a hybrid too. How terrifying could he really be?

"You're not dead," Gabbie blinked, her voice filled with shock as the man she believed she'd avenged stood before her, very much alive and breathing. His piercing blue eyes locked onto hers, sending a shiver down her spine.

"No, I'm not," came the reply, his voice low and menacing. "But soon you will be. You killed my witches."

Gabbie's breath hitched as she took in the sight of him-Niklaus Mikaelson, the original hybrid. His tall, imposing frame seemed to fill the room, his presence overwhelming. His eyes, an unsettling mix of ice blue and stormy gray, glimmered with centuries of malice. His tousled curls framed a face etched with both striking beauty and a darkness that was centuries old. He looked almost otherworldly-dangerous and dangerously attractive.

"There's a misunderstanding here," Gabbie quickly interjected, taking a cautious step back. "I thought they were planning to kill you-"

Klaus' growl echoed in the room, and before she could react, he was on her. His hand shot out, pinning her against the cold stone wall. Gabbie gasped in surprise, her breath stolen as his fingers closed around her throat. His grip was firm, his veins pulsing with rage. She felt her feet leave the ground, her toes barely brushing the floor beneath her.

"Who are you?" Klaus demanded, his voice a dangerous whisper. "Tell me your name."

"Gabrielle Reeds."

Author's Notes: Hi! This is a KlausxOc fanfiction, which had been inspired by my recent obsession with the tvd/to universe. The story starts at season2x1. It will loosely follow some of the major plotlines but most of the story will be non-canon.
