~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 2, BOOK 5~

*This novel serves as the 5th novel of Phase 2 and a sequel to "Coldsnap: Harbinger of Ice" and "The Paragons".*

"The Ascendant has abandoned us! Were we not good enough for him?! Is that it?! Must we now sit back and watch from isolation as the rest of the Mage Aspects continue to bask in his glory?! No! Soon, all of you deity-worshipping maggots......AND the Ascendant himself......shall know the wrath of the storm!" -Commander Windsor Galeforce

Now an official member of the Paragons, the Mage Aspect Coldsnap continues to lead the Ice Sect from the Elemental Realms after having ousted her former mentor, Frost King Alpin, and claiming his throne after exposing him for the monster he was. Aiding her are her three friends: Firebird, a fire mage who is now at the helm of the Fire Sect following Morton Flamestar's demise. Keena, Coldsnap's lover, who usurped her own mentor as well in a bid for power. And Geode, whose father Sledge-the leader of the Earth Sect-is now advancing in age and training his son to succeed him in the future.

However, it may be time for the new Sect Leaders to face the music. Following a sudden assault on the Grand Terminus by a new, rogue faction of Mage Aspects who hold dominion over the wind and storm, Coldsnap and her allies must venture to their foes' home region, Skycrest, work to defend their dimension-and the planet-from complete annihilation, and forge a new path for the Elemental Realms......all while discovering the storm mages' true motivations along the way.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Recent events have cancelled this old, old story. However! The synopsis for the rest of the chapters I had planned for the sequel, Cloudborn, are at the end of the second book along with the planned third book I had planned to write. Feel free to enjoy the unfinished, old story as you please. And please remember that the new upcoming revamp is a side project that will not have my full attention, so it will not be guaranteed completion. However, the storyline is the exact same as the original Iceborn. So you needn't worry about being left in the dark! (Book 1 of the Iceborn Series) Years after the Dragonets of Destiny. Generations after the defeat of Darkstalker. Pyrrhia has been at peace for as long as their queens could remember. But the hatching of a special dragon might change the course of Pyrrhia's peaceful reign. A twin IceWing egg, hatching twin Dragonets. One with too much ice, the other with too little. Blizzard the IceWing is Iceborn. After being accused of murdering another of her kind, Blizzard is forced to flee the Ice Kingdom or be killed. While on the run, Blizzard runs into two very peculiar dragons. Two dragons with strange symbols on their bodies. Two dragons from a faraway land. A land where Blizzard could start over. A land called Magisalla. The Wings of Fire series Belongs to Tui T. Sutherland. This is merely a fanfiction. NOTE: This story was created before the announcement of the Lost Continent.

Gwyneth had always felt connected to her faith, a higher power presiding over her. That faith had shaken that devastating day those years ago, the day that went on to haunt her every nightmare for years to come. She's still trying to come back from it, to not only restore her faith in life and love, but her faith in herself. The sanctity of her spirit- she prayed for resolve. Every punch was a prayer. Every mile was a hymn. Until her knuckles bled and her knees gave. Azriel had been surrounded by darkness his whole life, a poison on his world, on his being. He exercised restraint in his every waking moment, banishing that darkness within himself. Some guessed of the strain it put on him, but no one knew the extent of it, how deep his scars ran. It was better this way, he was sure. He had always thought that if there were a higher power- which he wholly doubted- such deities must loathe him to have burdened him such darkness. He hadn't much faith in the gods anyway, much less faith that he could sway their opinion on him. But Gwyneth and Azriel did have one thing in common: the quiet fight within themselves. They only knew one way: to go about it alone, couldn't fathom letting another in. But there's a magic in finding someone who is your equal but opposite, something transforming. And frankly, Gwyneth and Azriel could both use a little magic. All characters owned by SJM in the ACOTAR series. Story takes place after the events of ACOSF. Aligns with the events in my other fic: A Storm of Flames and Deceit. I haven't finished Crescent City, so this story takes place outside of the events of those books as well. ~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 2, BOOK 2~ *This novel serves as the 2nd novel of Phase 2 and a sequel to "The Paragons". The events of this novel and the previous one, "Spark of the Rebellion", take place at the same time.* "It's true what they all say; justice is blind. You will give everything to me, for I'm.....your Mastermind." -Maxwell "Max" Atkins a.k.a. Mastermind Half a year after the official formation of The Paragons and Malcorchus's defeat, Herman, one of The Viper's close friends, is reaping the benefits of having saved the planet at large, obtaining renowned fame while regularly protecting his home city of Mercury Heights alongside her, Dr. Duncan Drevis, The Crawler, and Duncan's sister, Monica Drevis, a.k.a. Shocker. However, trouble soon arises after several law enforcement officers start going missing across the country before later turning up dead, resulting in police departments experiencing severe staff shortages. To make matters worse, grave-robbing incidents have started to become more prominent across the U.S., drawing the suspicion of many. The only clue ever found at the crime scenes is one word---"Mastermind"---and the culprits are now believed to be hiding out in Mercury Heights. Commissioner Marvin, the commander of the Mercury Heights Police Department, has begun looking into the case, recruiting Herman for aid as well. But for the most part, they are on their own; with The Viper, Dr. Duncan Drevis, The Crawler, and Shocker all away on a different mission in the Rusted Citadel, it now falls to Herman, Commissioner Marvin, Giorgio Carlisle, and the newly-recruited Officer Didi to bring "Mastermind" to justice and end his twisted crusade against police officers everywhere, before even more members of law enforcement perish under the might of his misguided conquest. • Cover designed by @Castiment

The events of this novel and the next one, "Mastermind", take place at the same time.* "The Iron Kingpin and his forces seek to bring us to heel. To subjugate us by fear and intimidation. The flame of the resistance flickers, and it's up to us to reignite it. We must stir the noble hearts of the Citadel's people. We must show them that this world has not forsaken them." -Moody Half a year after the official formation of The Paragons and Malcorchus's defeat, The Viper, Duncan Drevis, and The Crawler continue to diligently protect Mercury Heights from criminal activity. However, The Viper soon confesses to Duncan that she has grown weary of protecting the same city for four years, and wishes to have a change of scenery, even for a little while. Soon, the three of them receive a distress call from Duncan's old friend "Moody", the leader of a resistance group in a hidden city in Asia known as the Rusted Citadel, which is currently under the merciless, oppressive rule of the evil Iron Kingpin. When "Moody" calls upon The Viper, Duncan Drevis, and The Crawler to come to the city and assist the rebellion in liberating it from the Kingpin's grasp, the trio ally with Duncan's sister Monica Drevis, a.k.a. Shocker, and embark on another adventure together to save the people of the Rusted Citadel, whose tyrannical monarch has much darker plans for it.....and the world as a whole. • Cover designed by @Castiment
