Aiding her are her three friends: Firebird, a fire mage who is now at the helm of the Fire Sect following Morton Flamestar's demise. Keena, Coldsnap's lover, who usurped her own mentor as well in a bid for power. And Geode, whose father Sledge-the leader of the Earth Sect-is now advancing in age and training his son to succeed him in the future. 

However, it may be time for the new Sect Leaders to face the music.
