~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 2, BOOK 5~

*This novel serves as the 5th novel of Phase 2 and a sequel to "Coldsnap: Harbinger of Ice" and "The Paragons".*

"The Ascendant has abandoned us! Were we not good enough for him?! Is that it?! Must we now sit back and watch from isolation as the rest of the Mage Aspects continue to bask in his glory?! No! Soon, all of you deity-worshipping maggots......AND the Ascendant himself......shall know the wrath of the storm!" -Commander Windsor Galeforce

Now an official member of the Paragons, the Mage Aspect Coldsnap continues to lead the Ice Sect from the Elemental Realms after having ousted her former mentor, Frost King Alpin, and claiming his throne after exposing him for the monster he was. Aiding her are her three friends: Firebird, a fire mage who is now at the helm of the Fire Sect following Morton Flamestar's demise. Keena, Coldsnap's lover, who usurped her own mentor as well in a bid for power. And Geode, whose father Sledge-the leader of the Earth Sect-is now advancing in age and training his son to succeed him in the future.

However, it may be time for the new Sect Leaders to face the music. Following a sudden assault on the Grand Terminus by a new, rogue faction of Mage Aspects who hold dominion over the wind and storm, Coldsnap and her allies must venture to their foes' home region, Skycrest, work to defend their dimension-and the planet-from complete annihilation, and forge a new path for the Elemental Realms......all while discovering the storm mages' true motivations along the way.

~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 2, BOOK 1~ *This novel serves as the 1st novel of Phase 2 and a sequel to "Powerhouse" and "The Paragons". The events of this novel and the next one, "Mastermind", take place at the same time.* "The Iron Kingpin and his forces seek to bring us to heel. To subjugate us by fear and intimidation. The flame of the resistance flickers, and it's up to us to reignite it. We must stir the noble hearts of the Citadel's people. We must show them that this world has not forsaken them." -Moody Half a year after the official formation of The Paragons and Malcorchus's defeat, The Viper, Duncan Drevis, and The Crawler continue to diligently protect Mercury Heights from criminal activity. However, The Viper soon confesses to Duncan that she has grown weary of protecting the same city for four years, and wishes to have a change of scenery, even for a little while. Soon, the three of them receive a distress call from Duncan's old friend "Moody", the leader of a resistance group in a hidden city in Asia known as the Rusted Citadel, which is currently under the merciless, oppressive rule of the evil Iron Kingpin. When "Moody" calls upon The Viper, Duncan Drevis, and The Crawler to come to the city and assist the rebellion in liberating it from the Kingpin's grasp, the trio ally with Duncan's sister Monica Drevis, a.k.a. Shocker, and embark on another adventure together to save the people of the Rusted Citadel, whose tyrannical monarch has much darker plans for it.....and the world as a whole. • Cover designed by @Castiment

Estelle Beaumont just wanted a peaceful hike on her last day of vacation. Instead, one ill-starred moment of curiosity leaves her miraculously stranded in the fictional world of Prythian--a faerie realm full of ruthless court drama, rampant misogyny, and enough deadly magic to keep anyone up at night. Armed with foreknowledge that's only helpful when it isn't actively trying to get her killed, Estelle quickly discovers that living through the story of ACOTAR is far less fun and far more perilous when it's her own basic-ass, untrained mortal life on the line. Her plan is simple: keep her hands off of the plot and survive long enough to find a way back to the family and love she left behind. But the so-called "Mother" clearly has other plans for Estelle, forcing her to confront an unsettling truth--that her role here in Prythian might be far greater than that of a passive observer. As Estelle reluctantly abandons her original plan, uneasy alliances form, old wounds reopen, and fractured trust begins to mend. Love, loss, and scars of the past converge as Estelle slowly starts to see that the family she thought she'd lost might take a new shape, and that the life she left behind might be the only reason she's prepared for the fight ahead. But the cost of shaping Prythian's future--and her own--might be greater than she can bear. After all, it's a future that was never meant to be hers to begin with. And this is all that damned Cauldron's fault... ☆⊱──────⊰ ☽✧☾ ⊱──────⊰☆ A/N: Warning: This fanfiction is purely self-indulgent, with long-winded introspection and a major, major slowburn romance. Read at your own risk lol. Also if you don't like self-insert/iseki like tropes were an original character who read the books ends up in the fictional world as the new main character, you might want to skip this. Somethings will stay very familiar, others will diverge completely, and I plan to add extra world building along the way.

One year ago, Prythian suffered an attack at the hands of the necromancer, Melantha. She was ultimately defeated, but the marks of her terrible influence still remain in the memories and on the bodies of her victims. Wynter, Heir to the Winter Court, bears many of those marks. Unable to live with himself after what happened on the island Inmortui, Wynter chose to go into seclusion and face his lingering trauma alone. Regardless of his attempts to isolate himself, there are those who refuse to abandon him, no matter how badly he wishes they would. Elodie Rohese has carried a fondness towards Wynter since she first met him, just before he was kidnapped by Melantha. She refuses to leave him alone in his isolation, and instead, visits his home frequently, even though he never admits her. Despite her uncle's wrath and prejudices, Elodie continues to reach out to Wynter. When circumstances finally drive Wynter to answer her, they are both swept into a storm of unresolved trauma and unacknowledged romance. Together, they can weather the storm, but apart, it will only break them. Disclaimer: I do not own the ACOTAR series or the characters and places therein. ~PARAGON CINEMATIC UNIVERSE: PHASE 4, BOOK 4~ *This novel serves as the 4th novel of Phase 4. It is technically a standalone narrative, but uses major villains from past novels in the franchise.* "Do you get tired of the endless fires of Hell licking at your heels? Do you grow weary of hearing the sounds of sizzling flesh, ear-piercing screams, and the laughs of demons? Do you long for a chance at redemption? To cross over to an eternity beyond the pearly gates? Well, today's your lucky day, folks.....because I, Razilla, am here to show you the way!" -Razilla Ashbane Hell is typically seen as a realm of fire, brimstone, and eternal suffering. Under the watchful eye of the Devil himself, the souls of those who lived sinfully during their lives are sent down here at the end of it all, fated to plunge into the lake of fire and writhe in untold agony for eternity. With his army of loyal demons, the Devil rules Hell with an uncontested iron fist, and almost no one dares to question his reign. No one.....except for Razilla Ashbane. Unlike others, Razilla has started to feel sorry for the tortured souls, and she wishes deep within her heart that they could have another chance at peace. But with the Devil in charge, any dreams she has for the souls' hypothetical "second chance" are destined to be dashed. Soon, she decides that enough's enough. Those in Hell's custody have burned for long enough, and it's time to test them to see if their torture should continue. And what better way to do so than with Razilla's "Rehabilitation Race", a set of challenges concocted by the quirky demon herself to determine which souls are worthy of redemption, and even safe passage to Heaven? And so, with determination flowing deep within her spirit, Razilla sets out to dethrone the Devil from power and put her own plans into motion, while learning a lesson or two about mercy, reconciliation, and one's capacity to truly do good along the way..... • Cover designed by @Castiment

Eternal: (adj.) Lasting or existing forever; without end or beginning Athanasia never complained about her situation. She never felt like she had the right to. A random event leads her to befriend a small boy. A boy that she believed she would never see again. His situation was heartbreaking, she knew that there are others that are more unfortunate just like him. However, this one encounter changes everything she expected of herself, gave her freedom when the world only wants to swallow her up. --- "Why are you doing this? Why are you befriending me? Though we met five hundred years ago, why do you still bring me into your life? So much can happen in that many years but instead of staying with your friends or finding other things to do, you're with me. Why?" I ask again. Though I don't like being so forward, I can't help it. I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had. That's why I want to continue them-with you, Athy." --- Disclaimer: All ACOTAR characters and plot belong to Sarah J. Maas. My characters and scenes are my own work.
