22 year-old Katrina Prescott, a young and spirited hiker, finds herself in a twisted reality beyond anything she could think of. A place in which time, space, and reality could be distorted with ease. A place which people call "The Backrooms."

Katrina must now prove herself and overcome the lurking terrors of this hidden world, her paranoia, and her crumbling sanity, all while trying to find a way out.

(NOTE: Some elements in this story are inspired by Kane Pixel's Backrooms series, the Backrooms Wikidot, and more. But this will mostly be my own interpretation of the Backrooms.)

What felt like minutes continued to be hours and days... The Backrooms is a place where you land when you no clip out of reality. Over a million square metres are covered in the backrooms, escaping is tough and keeping your sanity is tougher. After the Fun War all partypoopers vanished into the Promised Land. The problem appeared when one of them accidently noclipped straight into the Funrooms, with no way back. Edit: According to recent lore (12/2022), Ivan Beck was not present during the meeting with the Department of Energy. I might rewrite this to fit the lore better but for now, I will leave it as it is. I hope it can still be enjoyed. A fanfiction based on Kane Pixel's Backrooms series. Highly recommend watching it in order to understand the lore better. Thanks for reading!
