Marinette awoke from what felt like a bad dream; one that she.. couldn't seem to remember. She was in someone's arms, but she didn't feel any sense of panic or fear. She instead looked up at him in utter confusion, "Who are you?". It seemed as if those three words left him crushed because he broke down. This took her by surprise. She certainly didn't know this stranger, but she felt empathy for the boy and embraced him in tight hug that would hopefully bring him comfort.

AU where Marinette as a teenager with her own personal life to worry about, along with the stress that comes with the burden and honor of being the guardian gets to her. She decides that Su-Han would better qualify, being older and more experienced. The miracle box would be in great hands, she knew it. The only problem is that she hasn't told Chat Noir the news, knowing that his reaction wouldn't be pleasant. He knew what the turnout would be just as well as she did. She would forget everything.
