Mk felt himself freezing over. Of course it was all Mk's fault, he just couldn't not touch shit he wasn't supposed to and it went wrong. He should have known better than to mess with any of those artifacts Monkey King kept around, should have reacted faster when Monkey King jumped and closed it before the Ink Demon could get out. Should have fought harder, shouldn't have let Monkey King get sucked in. Should have known better than to feed his family to it, should have pulled them out sooner, shouldn't have trusted Azure. He shouldn't have let Azure get ahead of them like that, should have gotten Monkey King out. Shouldn't have broken the memory tile, shouldn't have let the Brotherhood escape, shouldn't have let Azure-

[ON HOLD] "You wouldn't get it, Kid. She was someone who went through a life line of pain just for a single purpose of protecting another." Sun Wukong sighed, letting his feet dangle off the edge of the ship, the wind was harshly blowing against him. Even when the ship was sitting still, the deserts wind was still harsh. Mk, sensing a new story to learn, sat down next to his mentor with excitement. Only when he saw the somber look did he realize the weight this story had on him. "Um... Who is she again?" Mk asked, rubbing the back of his neck, looking backwards to the rest of the crew. Sun Wukong grumbled words before shaking his head with a sigh. "Someone that I had accidentally mistreated." Mk turned back around as the rest of the crew got closer to listen in on Wukongs story. His tail was carefully tucked next to him as he rested his head in a palm. "She was just trying to do her job, but slowly her friends fell one by one. They were driven to insanity from the burden their job held. She was the strongest one, and she was the last to fall. She succumbed to her power, and it slowly ran through her. All I can say is that the last thing that remained of her was a pile of ash." Wukong slowly pulled a small looking urn.
