"You know the whole thing with Azure Lion wasn't your fault, right?" Mk felt himself freezing over. Of course it was all Mk's fault, he just couldn't not touch shit he wasn't supposed to and it went wrong. He should have known better than to mess with any of those artifacts Monkey King kept around, should have reacted faster when Monkey King jumped and closed it before the Ink Demon could get out. Should have fought harder, shouldn't have let Monkey King get sucked in. Should have known better than to feed his family to it, should have pulled them out sooner, shouldn't have trusted Azure. He shouldn't have let Azure get ahead of them like that, should have gotten Monkey King out. Shouldn't have broken the memory tile, shouldn't have let the Brotherhood escape, shouldn't have let Azure- He smiles and his mouth is dry again. "Yeah, of course I know that. I mean, how could I have known any of that was gonna happen?" Liar. . . . An interpretation of the events between Azure Lion's death and the beach party. Featuring Wukong redemption arc, multiple monkeys accepting that you have to ask for help sometimes, and gratuitous amounts of freenooodles content.

[LMK x F!Reader] [6k - 22k word chapters] Your dad wanted help at the noodle shop, sure you love him to bits and pieces but you simply don't have the time of day to be doing things like this. He offered to pay you as much as he could for your help, but seeing as it was well under what you normally earned at your current job, you had to reluctantly deny his offers. Besides, you live halfway across the city and you have training with your mentor, this isn't something you couldn't just throw away with ease. Upon the third call though, you finally folded, as the desperation in your fathers voice was evident and you were tired of being, what you'd like to call, a shitty daughter. So, you told your mentor about your knew schedule, to which he was more than happy to adjust his schedule as well, he seemed more than happy oddly enough. Though you felt off about leaving him to take care of your pets, you had no one else to trust, so you just left him with them. With that, you packed a good few amounts of clothes, started up your car and then you were off. Still, there was an ever growing worry developing in your stomach as you drove further and further away from your home. Was this really the best idea?
