When the first born prince was 14 an ugly witch came to the castle looking for shelter. She is denied by the king and queen and for this lack of empathy the witch curses their first born to deal with the anguish their transgressions have caused. The parents of the first born prince lock him away but every full moon his animalistic nature would be uncontrollable. To protect themselves and their second born the king and queen flee to their secondary castle leaving the other castle to rot and decay. 22 years later the kingdom has fallen into a pattern. Every year a girl from the Village is sent to the old castle to appease the beast within, none return. Now it is time for the sacrifice again, the most beautiful woman in the village. She doesn't want to go and her parents wish not to give her up, thankfully they have their embarrassment of a son to trick the poor beast.
(this is a Beauty and the Beast inspired story but make it more angsty)

But then, the dragon reached it's house and he changed into a handsome young man! Even though its forbidden for them to be together, the princess slowly fell for the dragon and the dragon fell for her.. but how will this fairy tale end..? like every other, where the prince comes and slay the dragon and gets the girl, or will it be different this time? Everyone was trapped and could not leave Greyson, and the king was transformed into a monster. The only way to break the curse, is for the king to find true love. But who could truly love a monster. Annie finally gets the nerve to leave a bad relationship. With nothing but an old truck and camper, she starts driving to what she hopes is a new beginning. Somehow, she ends up in the cursed lands of Greyson. She finds she is trapped in a world where time stands still, and magic exist. At first it seems like a paradise. But like they say, when it seems too good to be true, most of the time it is. When there is a misunderstanding, the king accuses Annie of stealing and he kicks her out of the castle. Done with feeling rejected and alone, Annie decides it's time to find a way out. As she tries to find her way out, she starts to learn more about the curse and its people.
