For 45 years, Era has been alone.  Upon reaching the Grayhavens, she found that she really was the last shapeshifter.  When the elves leave her behind, Era decides that things were better long ago, when she had her mother and her friends.  But, she can't go back.

Or can she...?

Using a great deal of magic and energy, she manages to turn back the clock to when her mother and father met and help them reclaim Erabor.  However, things won't be so easily changed.

Life couldn't be better, right? Wrong... Now, they must face the battle against Sauron. With her father and friends defending the eastern side of the Misty Mountains, alongside with the elves of Lothloria, Era journey through Middle Earth and help Frodo and the other hobbits reach Rivendell for the the Council of the Ring. After your husband's death you knew you'd never fall in love again until a certain Hobbit came into your life. (The first movie will sadly not be the extended version, but the others are the extended version.)

One day, a wizard whom she vaguely remembers as Gandalf, comes to her while she is at work and asks her to join him and Bilbo at dinner that night for talk of a quest. She agrees to come to dinner, and is suprised to find a whole company of dwarves who are charming in their own way at her cousin's home. Isola joins the company for the adventure, and she learns that family does not have to be blood, and what it means to belong. And unexpected to her, she finds the one she'll never forget, and the one she'll never let go of. I would like to add that the chapters you read will not be fully edited until I complete the book. So there will be typos, flaws in the plot, ect. I am going to do some heavy editing at the end. Everything up until then is more of a draft. I do not own anything exept for Isola and some added plot.
