Set after the events of 911 Season 6 Episode 9, Red Flag... 

Eddie makes his choice and pursues a relationship with Buck. This comes with the trials and tribulations of getting together, being in love, the lightning strike, Buck's recovery, the secret relationship reveal,  parental drama, and Buck's past as a SEAL coming back to haunt the 118. 

I wrote a large chunk of this story during the winter hiatus. Started posting on the archive in February. All of this is already posted there. You may have already read this there. 

This story will be ongoing and will deal with some heavy themes. Trigger warning up front.

They will deal with, but not tolerate homophobia, ableism, Bobby's AA, Buck's history of abuse, Maddie's is mentioned, Eddie's family drama. These triggers and others make an appearance... None are tolerated, and they overcome things as a team and a family. 

There will be drama, angst, violence, smut, cursing, etc... 

There will be some angst between the characters. No character bashing ...  they actually will deal with their issues to move past them. There is some drama between Buck and Maddie very early ... and then Buck and Eddie against Bobby... Eddie and Bobby, Buck and Chim... These are done to actually deal with plots the show leaves hanging.Tous Droits Réservés

After Buck's Lawsuit on the 118 station, Buck is finally able to go back to the station, his family. While everyone has already forgiven him, Buck begins to notice and feel something off about everyone. They have become distant with Buck, and don't seem to want him around. One night the entire team goes out to celebrate a tough shift but do not bring Buck along.Buck just so happened to be at that same bar, angered Buck leaves and something horrible happens to him. He was attacked after leaving the bar and waiting for an uber. Eddie was the first to leave the bar, wanting to talk to Buck but instead finds his best friend laying on the ground unconscious, and bleeding out. What will Eddie do now after seeing his best friend, the love of his life, barely clinging on to life? Will one of them confess their feelings for the other? Buck and Eddie have always had such a special bond that everyone wishes they had in a person. Someone that is just their person inside and out. Everything changes in a blink of an eye, and Buck suddenly feels he has to fight every part of himself to get better, mentally and physically. And Eddie has been there helping Buck pick up the pieces after his accident. During the fight for his life, Buck also realized his true feelings for someone. But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward. After helping Buck pick up the broken pieces of his suffering, what will happen between the two? Will their sparks ignite into something more? Or will those same broken pieces only break them apart. How will the Diaz boys react to Buck's upcoming surprise? How will Buck react? This is my first time ever writing a fanfic, and it is a Buddie (Buck x Eddie from 9-1-1) because it feels NEEDED! lol Tigger warning though, there is talk about abuse and mental health issues, there will be a warning on top of the chapter. He's had a family who barely acknowledged he was there and another that just left him behind. A sister who pushed him away, giving him keys to a car and a debit card to an account he had no interest in having. Bobby and Marcy were the only people he could count on. Then he meets Eddie Diaz. But even he broke his heart, leaving in the middle of the night just as they were planning a life together. All he left was a note that held no answers. Buck was once again, not enough. Or Buck and Bobby dinner and Buck informs Bobby that he is pulling himself off disability and leaving LA and has no plans of ever coming back. The last name all starting with B wasn't my intention but it just happened and the first chapter is a bit messy as it just a lead up chapter to everything and the bashing is not bad at all is very minimal unlike my other fan fiction

Buck's biggest fear is being abandoned because he's always felt alone. His parents had him for spare parts so he's never felt like he belongs here. The problem is: Everyone around him leaves so he thinks it's his fault and that nobody would care if he was gone. Eddie Diaz is his best friend. He knows when something is wrong with Buck. There's a deeper connection with him and Buck than there is with the rest of the 118. With Bobby gone, everyone at the 118 is a mess. No one thinks anything of it when Buck doesn't show up for the shift next morning. Except for Eddie. Will he be able to save Buck in time?
