The Fallen | a modern childe x reader

Y/N has cruised through life and school as an aloof, almost invisible ex-track star... with only two friends by her side which she hung out with just so she doesn't go insane from lack of human interaction.

When the new kid comes crashing into her life on her last first day at school (quite literally), she's taken aback, almost stunned, at finally being given shape by him, who claims that he's been looking for her along with the government that's tailing him wherever he goes.

They've given her until her graduation day to save the world from unsuspected ruin by the ginger haired new leader of the swim team.

Y/N had promised herself a peaceful end to her high school career.
Ajax had other ideas.

"So are you saying that we're Fireboy and Watergirl... but Waterboy and Firegirl?"
"Yep, and if I didn't suck at coding, I would've made a parody of that game myself. Just for us."
