AU starting at Caroline's Birthday. Klaus saves Caroline to get his plans in motion. She was supposed to be nothing but a means to an end. But something about her awakens feelings he presumed long dead. Caroline on the other hand wants nothing more than to see him dead. Spells go wrong. Or do they go right? Nothing is as it seems in Mystic Falls anyway. This is an edited version of the story. The original one is posted on fanfaction. Beware: this story contains lemons. I will give a warning before though so you can read the story without it. Disclaimer: I don't own the vampire diaries, the originals or the characters. This is purely a work of fiction.
